After nearly 2 years of thinking I'd get back to working on this in just a few weeks, then just a few more weeks, and just a few more weeks after that, I've realized that I no longer have an analog modem to use and I no longer have a land line with caller ID (and I still have no time), so I can't make any more progress on this. NCIDStatusBarMenu displays caller ID information from NCID server using Growl. Optionally, it can display the caller ID in the menu bar and it can retrieve information on the phone number from whocalled.us.
